Amrill Salcedo-Alonzo

With a L.L.M. in Health Law & Policy, Amrill Salcedo-Alonzo offers healthcare clients legal counsel that is rooted in her expansive comprehension of health law and regulations as well as public policy. She focuses her practice in the areas of Business Transactions and Facility Licensing.
Within the Business Transactions practice, Amrill represents commercial and non-profits in corporate governance and restructuring; mergers and acquisitions; commercial closings, employment relations and contracts for medical professionals and regulatory compliance on both state and federal levels.
In the Facility Licensing practice, Amrill provides counsel to healthcare facilities in matters of licensure, contracting, and accreditation, and specifically represents outpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities, outpatient mental health facilities, integrated healthcare facilities and residential substance use disorder treatment facilities.
For many years, Amrill has served as President of the Professional Advisory Board for Sister2Sister, a non-profit cancer-survivor organization. In this capacity, she provides counsel on corporate governance and compliance, participation in clinical trials, leadership succession, and personnel diversification to reflect communal needs. In 2019 she was recognized by the organization with its highest award, the Pearl Grace Award. Amrill chairs the International Facet of the Central NJ Links, Inc. where she organizes missions to support literacy for children in different countries. She also coaches under-represented women in life skills at Urban Revival, Inc., New Brunswick, NJ.
Amrill is never too busy for a good chat, laughter, red wine, and a quick flight to the islands of Trinidad & Tobago where she calls home.
