Christopher B. Bladel

Christopher B. Bladel
Attorney of the Firm

Chris joined Buttaci Leardi & Werner after more than a decade of litigation experience involving high-value cases handled in an expedited manner in New Jersey and New York. He was raised in a family of insurance producers and healthcare professionals, which Chris credits for inspiring him to provide solutions that help healthcare practices resolve billing disputes and other claims so they can focus on treating patients.

Chris’ litigation experience includes handling insurance fraud and consumer fraud actions. In his early career, Chris defended claims against life and disability insurers in addition to third-party administrators for benefits under group employee welfare benefit plans brought under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”).

During that time he also litigated claims brought under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act (“IFPA”), and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. Prior to entering private practice, Chris served as a clerk to the Hon. Harried Derman, J.S.C (ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division for Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family, reading historical non-fiction, fostering his love of travel and flying by following developments within the airline and aerospace industry, researching family genealogy, and watching Yankees games from his Yankee Stadium seat from the old ballpark.
