Elizabeth A. Rice
Paralegal of the Firm
Ms. Rice is a 2012 graduate of Vermont Law School, and a barred attorney in the state of Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She took the New Jersey bar exam in February 2018.
Ms. Rice joined the Firm in May 2017, when she relocated to New Jersey from Maryland. She currently works as a Paralegal supporting the Firm’s Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, and Regulatory Defense practices. In this role she manages criminal and civil ligations, including reimbursement disputes, and insurance fraud matters.
Ms. Rice is also the Firm’s resident technology savant. In 2017, she became a certified-expert in the Firm’s cloud-based practice management software, crafted more efficient administrative workflows by leveraging the Firm’s various technology assets, and coordinated the redesign of the Firm’s website and social media platforms. In 2018, she will be working to move the Firm to a completely paperless environment and revamping the Firm’s E-Discovery protocols.
Prior to joining the Firm she served as Paralegal contractor at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives processing the backlog of Freedom of Information Act requests. Before that, she practiced as an attorney with Special Counsel supporting top AmLaw firms, including Venable LLP, in large scale pharmaceutical-related discovery matters.
Outside of work, Ms. Rice enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, reading, visiting cat cafes, and is a prolific blogger.
