Elizabeth A. Rice
Attorney of the Firm
Ms. Rice is a 2012 graduate of Vermont Law School, and admitted to practice in New Jersey, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Rice joined the Firm in May 2017, when she relocated to New Jersey from Maryland.
Ms. Rice supports the Firm’s Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, and Regulatory Defense practices. In this role she manages criminal and civil litigations, including reimbursement disputes, and insurance fraud matters. She also engages in trademark transactional & litigation work, judgment enforcement, and chancery disputes.
Ms. Rice is also the Firm’s resident technology savant. In 2017, she became a certified-expert in the Firm’s cloud-based practice management software, crafted more efficient administrative workflows by leveraging the Firm’s various technology assets, and coordinated the redesign of the Firm’s website and social media platforms. In 2018 and 2019, she facilitated the Firm’s engagement of new technology and legal support resources. Most recent, in 2020, she became a credentialed eDiscovery coder and coordinated the Firm’s shift to a new discovery management solution.
Ms. Rice was named a “Rising Star” in Health Law by New Jersey Monthly in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Prior to joining the Firm she served as Paralegal contractor at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives processing the backlog of Freedom of Information Act requests. Before that, she practiced as an attorney with Special Counsel supporting top AmLaw firms, including Venable LLP, in large scale pharmaceutical-related discovery matters.
Outside of work, Ms. Rice enjoys practicing yoga, indoor and outdoor gardening, and enjoying exquisite specialty coffee.
