Frank X. Wukovits
Attorney of the Firm
Mr. Wukovits is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, with a Certificate of Concentration in Privacy and Security Law.
Mr. Wukovits holds a certificate in Healthcare Compliance from the U.S. Healthcare Compliance Certificate Program, with emphases in the regulation of data privacy; healthcare fraud; FDA approval and regulation of new drugs and devices; prescription drug and device marketing and advertising; government investigations; and worldwide anti-corruption and enforcement.
While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Wukovits was awarded the Luigi Franzese Scholarship in recognition of academic excellence, leadership, and community service. He served as Editor-in-Chief of eWhite House Watch, a forum dedicated to updates and commentary on technology, privacy, and government policy. He also served as President of the St. Thomas More Society and Co-President of the Peter W. Rodino Jr. Society.
Mr. Wukovits previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Esther Salas, U.S.D.J. for the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Thomas J. Walsh, J.S.C.
He also previously served as a legal intern for Cognizant, a Fortune 500 company ranked as one of the world’s largest IT management services firms. He reported directly to both Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs and Senior Privacy Counsel.
He formerly served as a legal intern for the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Section of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. He reported directly to the Section Chief and provided research for Deputy Attorney Generals pursuant to investigations for violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and New Jersey Identity Theft Prevention Act.
Just prior to joining the Firm, he assisted federal prosecutors within the Federal Trade Commission, where he performed complex federal research for the Bureau of Consumer Protection and Bureau of Competition. He was actively involved with federal investigations and the prosecution of corporations for consumer fraud, anti-trust violations, money laundering, credit card fraud, wire fraud, and various financial crimes. During this time, he was also issued a training certification in privacy and security by the FTC.
Mr. Wukovits joined the Firm as an Associate Attorney after first spending the summer with the Firm as a Summer Associate. He supports the Firm’s Civil Litigation, Regulatory Defense, Facility Licensing, and Risk Management practices. He represents providers and licensed facilities in both transactional and litigation matters.
Mr. Wukovits also dedicates his practice to matters involving health information technology; cybersecurity; software; electronic health applications and services; protection of confidential and proprietary information; privacy; e-prescribing software; and e-purchasing/inventory management solutions.
Before pursuing a career in law, Mr. Wukovits graduated from Colgate University, where he received a B.A. in Political Science and played Division-I football.
Outside of work, he enjoys training in mixed martial arts, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.
