Kristen J. Basista
Attorney of the Firm
Ms. Basista is a 2017 graduate of the The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Technology Editor of I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society. She has a B.S. in Neuroscience from Westminster College, and joined the Firm in September 2017 as an Associate Attorney, after first spending the summer of 2016 with the Firm as a Summer Associate. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
Ms. Basista supports the Firm’s Corporate Transactions, Facility Licensing, and Risk Management practices. She represents providers, group practices, and licensed facilities in both transactional and regulatory matters, including corporate transactions and contracts, and the organization, licensure, acquisition, and sale of healthcare practices and facilities.
Ms. Basista was named a “Rising Star” in Health Law by New Jersey Monthly in 2020.
Outside of work, Ms. Basista enjoys craft beers, preferably stouts, exploring New York City on weekends, and begrudgingly cheering on all Cleveland professional sports teams.
