Ms. Allocca is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as Senior Comments Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review and competed nationally as a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. She placed third in the National Health Law Moot Court Competition during her third year at Seton Hall. Ms. Allocca was also a student advocate for Seton Hall’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where she represented plaintiffs in housing discrimination matters.

While in law school, Ms. Allocca served as a judicial intern for both the Honorable Steven C. Mannion, U.S.M.J., in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Carmen Messano, P.J.A.D., presiding judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Ms. Allocca joined the Firm as an Associate Attorney after first spending the summer with the Firm as a Summer Associate. Ms. Allocca supports the Firm’s Civil Litigation, Regulatory Defense, and Risk Management practices.

Ms. Allocca’s practice is principally focused on representing healthcare providers in reimbursement disputes, including: claims for benefits, post-payment and pre-payment claim audits; overpayment disputes and litigation; insurance fraud investigations and prosecutions; and claims for unpaid or underpaid benefits. To that end, she regularly litigates claims brought under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), the False Claims Act (“FCA”), the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), and the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act (“IFPA”).

In addition to reimbursement disputes, she represents her provider clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes including: commercial contracts and leases; employer/employee relations; restrictive covenants; business torts; administrative and regulatory compliance; health information technology; and the protection of confidential and proprietary information.

Outside of work, she enjoys Italian wine, 2007 and 2011 Eli Manning, Danny Dimes, and exploring Jersey City.
